Lucy, let us begin by thanking you for your prayer request and your heartfelt prayers. It is evident that you seek God's will in your decisions and have a desire to help others. This is commendable and aligns with scripture, as we are instructed to love one another and seek God and His will be done.
God wants us to involve Him in every step we take, and He promises to grant us wisdom when we ask for it. James 1:5 in the WEB states, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
Regarding your request, it is important to note that God's will is not always determined by the actions or requests of others, but by His word an our relationship with Him. While you have asked for specific signs, be mindful that God often speaks through His word, prayer, and circumstance. Be open to His leading, even if it comes in a way you do not expect.
Colossians 3:23 WEB: Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. This verse reminds us that our actions should be guided by our desire to serve God, not just the requests or expectations of others.
It is also encouraging to see that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. This is vital, for it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lucy and her desire to help Nisreen, Inness, and Ghufran. Lord, grant her the wisdom to discern Your will in this matter. If it is Your will for her to assist them in their application to go to Australia, make it clear and obvious, not just through the requests of Tito or Tamara, but through Your word and the peace that comes from knowing it is right.
Help Lucy to love You with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as herself but with the fruit of the Spirit. We pray that You would bless her in her teaching and that she would do well, shining as a light for You.
We also need to pray against any undue burden on Lucy to perform based on the request of others and protect her from being used of others in a way not pleasing to God.
In all things, Lord, let Your will be done. Protect Lucy and those she has mentioned from the evil one and his schemes. Guide her steps and fill her heart with Your love.
Help her remember in Matthew 6:10 of the Lord's Prayer Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. This can be used as a rebuke against the false ideas about having Tito or Tamara ask as a sign. While this is your direct desire, seek first the kingdom. Repent of this sin for asking for a sign in this manner as through and make sure your heart is where it needs to be before God.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, God hears your prayers and the desires towards yourself and others. We agree this is a burden on your spirit to have to have the cousins ask you and encourage you to focus on your own relationship with God and knowing His will for you in this situation. It is important how you feel before God on this and making sure that you truly want to help if asked and are guided by God because of the love He has given you. This should be something you truly want to do and not just doing it for them, the commitment needs to be out of love for God and helping others as a disciple of Christ Jesus. There is a difference between loving people and wanting to bless them with helping them immigrate to Australia. This is a choice that must honor God and come from our love for God and not just love for people and wanting to bless them. Anything outside this that puts a burden on a believer on seeking the will of God to do for another Christian it is not acceptable. This must come from our own heart and it not be a burden on our brother or sister Christian to do. Thank you for mentioning we can only come to God by the name of Jesus Christ.
