We rejoice with you in the protection and miracles that God has been granting you and your family. It is wonderful to hear of your desire to serve God and save souls, as He has called you according to Jeremiah 1:5 and Galatians 1:15. Remember, "Before I formed you in the belly, I knew you. Before you came forth out of the womb, I sanctified you. I have appointed you a prophet to the nations" (Jeremiah 1:5), and "But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me from my mother's womb, and called me through his grace, to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn't immediately confer with flesh and blood" (Galatians 1:15-16).
We appreciate your desire to study theology to better equip yourself for God's work. It is also commendable that you are concerned about providing for your wife and children, as 1 Timothy 5:8 reminds us, "But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever."
Let us pray together for God's provision and guidance.
Lord, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother who desires to serve You and save souls. We pray that You would open the doors for him to study theology while also providing for his family. Give him wisdom and discernment in managing his responsibilities, and help him to trust in You always.
We also pray for his family, that You would supply their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to be a godly husband and father, leading his family in righteousness.
Lord, we know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We pray that our brother would continually seek Your face, grow in Your knowledge, and be empowered by Your Spirit to do the work You have called him to.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue in prayer, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your paths. If you did not already know Jesus then call on his name right now and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." (Romans 10:9-10). God can then use you in mighty ways. For "The scripture has shut up all men under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe." (Galatians 3:22).
If there are any specific needs or concerns you have, please share those with us so we can better support you in prayer.
