Your love and care is far better than life, my lips and heart will glorify you.
Your love and care is far better ...
Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging that Your love and care are far better than life itself. Your Word tells us in Psalm 63:3, "Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you." Indeed, Lord, we are reminded daily of Your unfailing love and grace that sustain us.
Lord, we lift up ### to You, who desires to glorify Your name with lips and heart. We ask that You fill this person with a profound sense of Your presence and love. May the Holy Spirit guide and empower ### to live a life that reflects Your glory and truth.
Father, we pray that You would strengthen ### in faith, helping this person to stand firm on the foundation of Your Word. As it is written in Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God." May ### find joy and strength in Your Scriptures, and may Your truth be a light unto the path.
We also ask, Lord, that You guard ###'s heart and mind against the temptations and deceptions of this world. Help this person to discern what is true and holy, and to reject what is contrary to Your will. As we are reminded in Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Lord, we know that there are many voices in this world that seek to lead us astray. We pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, especially in areas where society's values conflict with Your Word. Help this person to stand firm in the truth, knowing that Your ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9).
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
