YOUR FAITH MUST BE TESTED TO CHECK WHETHER IT IS GENUINE: THE RIGHTEOUS SHALL LIVE BY FAITH (ROMANS 1:17). We all need faith to believe. "So the Law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith . Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the Law" (Galatians 3:24) (Romans 3:21-22). Now, our faith must be TESTED to check whether it is genuine before one is approved and rewarded with eternal life in Christ Jesus. Our suffering, trials and temptation in the for of : troubles, insults, hardships, difficulties, rejection, exclusion, hunger, distress, joblessness and all forms of challenges are tests to check on the genuineness of our faith. Those who have faith in God will be able to hold on the promises of God and believe that God is able to do what he promised. Everyone of us should endure persecution as tests before being approved and declared a child of God by faith in Jesus Christ. This is a process not an event. It takes God's time and purpose. We must submit and surrender to God's purpose and endure suffering. It is written," though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that your faith...may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honour when Christ is revealed "(1 Peter 1:3-7) (James 1:2-4) (Luke 8:14-15). Christ is revealed in our hearts. Christ in us. But remember, not everyone has faith, and these are the ones who serve the kingdom of the dark world to try and destroy the Church of Christ. As it is written, "And pray that we might be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. But God is faithful, he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one" (2 Thessalonians 3:2-5). But we know that we are justified by Faith. (Romans 5:1-5) (Hebrews 11:6) (Galatians 3:10-14). "As you know we consider blessed those who have perservered. You have heard of Job's perserverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. God is full of compassion and mercy" (James 5:10-11). Now, brothers and sisters, " Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith: Test yourselves. Do you not realise that Christ Jesus is in you: Unless, of course, you fail the Test" (2 Corinthians 13:4-10) (Galatians 4:19) (Ephesians 3:16-17) (Colossians 1:27) ( Romans 8:9-10) (Galatians 2:20). Let's pray: Holy Father, I believe but help me to overcome my unbelief. Give me faith to believe. Put in me Christ's perserverance to endure persecution for the Name. Protect me from the evil one for not everyone has faith. In Jesus Christ name I pray, Amen.
