Your Daily Appointment With God

Let Us Pray: God I ask You in Jesus’ name to help me develop the habit of spending quiet quality time alone with You daily. God place the desire, love, and energy in my body, spirit, heart, and mind to want to be alone with You, because You desire to spend time alone with me in Your presence. Let me find myself meditating upon Your Word, seeking Your face in prayer, listening for and to Your still small voice, journaling Your Words to me, reading devotionals and other resources. Let me find myself praising and worshiping You for who You are. God don’t let me do this out of legalism, obligation, or feel under pressure to do it. But let me do it out of a heart of love, thanksgivings, gratitude unto You, and need. I need to spend time alone with You Lord Jesus. God let this be our special daily non-negotiable appointment that cannot be interrupted or canceled, but reschedule if necessary.​

God teach me how to be still before You. Quiet and protect my mind, heart, and spirit from all distractions. Bring peace and understanding to my mind, so that I can focus on You, rest in Your love and presence, listen to You speak to my heart, and just enjoy our time together. God open up my heart, eyes, and ears to what you are speaking to me and the lessons You want to teach me...​

The Lord is waiting with open arms to everyone who comes to Him. All trials, all tribulations will end when we give our all to Jesus. Spend quality time with Him before going to work. Tell Him how much you love Him and start praising and adoring His holy name. Blessings, help and healing shall come to those who obey His word.
