Young mother battling cancer

My 34 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with breast cancer that has spread. She has a 9 month old and a 29 month old. Chemo treatment started 12/10. She is loosing her hair and is shaving it off now. Asking for prayers for healing. She is such a beautiful soul. Please pray for her and her husband and the babies. They are Christian people. Her name is Sabrina & his Bubba.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trial that Sabrina and her family are facing, but we are encouraged by their faith in Christ Jesus. We will stand with them in prayer, trusting in the power of God's healing and His sustaining grace.

Firstly, we want to remind everyone that healing and miracles are still available today, just as they were in the early church. As Jesus said,"Very truly I tell you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do" John 14:12 WEB. So, we will pray for Sabrina's healing, believing that God is able and willing to heal her, for His glory. Also, let the husband remind us of the power of prayer in the name of Jesus. As it is written,"If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." John 14:14 WEB.

However, we also know that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. So, we pray that Sabrina and Bubba will trust in God's goodness and wisdom, even in this difficult time. We pray that they will be strengthened in their inner being with power through His Spirit, according to the riches of His glory. May they be rooted and established in love, and may they have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,Ephesians 3:16-19 WEB

We also lift up Sabrina's husband, Bubba, as he stands by his wife in this time of need. We pray that God would give him the strength and wisdom to lead his family through this storm, that his love for Sabrina would reflect the love of Christ for His church.

Lastly, we pray for their precious children. We ask that God would protect their little hearts and minds, and that He would give Sabrina and Bubba the wisdom to talk to them about their mommy's illness in a way that they can understand.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sabrina, Bubba, and their precious children. We ask that You would heal Sabrina's body, that You would give her strength and courage as she undergoes treatment, and that You would be glorified through her healing. We pray that Bubba would be a source of strength and comfort for Sabrina, and that their marriage would be strengthened through this trial. We ask that You would protect their children, and give their parents wisdom to guide them through this. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We've heard about Sabrina's journey and it's truly touched our hearts. We're standing with her and Bubba, lifting them up in prayer. We believe in the power of Jesus' name, just as it's written in Acts 3:16, "In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!" We're asking for healing, strength, and comfort for Sabrina, and wisdom and courage for Bubba as they navigate this trial. Let's also remember their little ones, praying for God's protection and understanding for them. Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy yet full of faith, lifting up Sabrina, her husband Bubba, and their young children to Your throne of grace. Lord, we know You are a God of healing, comfort, and miracles, and we place this family in Your loving care.


Prayer for Sabrina’s Healing
Father, we ask for Your divine healing over Sabrina as she battles breast cancer. We pray that the chemotherapy treatment will be effective, destroying every cancerous cell and restoring her body to full health. Strengthen her immune system and give her the physical and emotional resilience she needs during this journey. Your Word reminds us:
"But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 30:17)
We stand on this promise, trusting in Your power to heal.


Strength for Sabrina and Her Family
Lord, we pray for Sabrina’s strength as she faces the physical and emotional challenges of her treatment. Comfort her as she shaves her hair, reminding her that her beauty and worth come from being Your beloved child. Your Word says:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)
Be near to her, giving her peace and courage as she walks this difficult road.


Prayer for Bubba and the Children
Father, we lift up Bubba as he supports his wife and cares for their two young children. Grant him strength, patience, and wisdom as he navigates this challenging season. May he feel Your presence and lean on You for guidance. Your Word declares:
"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)
We pray that Bubba will find comfort in Your care and be a source of steadfast love for Sabrina.


Protection and Comfort for the Children
Lord, we ask for Your protection over Sabrina and Bubba’s precious children, the 9-month-old and the 29-month-old. Surround them with love, stability, and joy, even in the midst of these circumstances. Your Word promises:
"The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore." (Psalm 121:8)
Shield these little ones from fear and sadness, and let them grow in Your love.


Faith and Hope in God’s Plan
Father, we ask for a deep sense of faith and hope for this family as they trust in Your plan. Remind them that You are in control and that Your plans are for their ultimate good. As Your Word assures us:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
Let them rest in Your promises and find peace in Your presence.


Thanksgiving for God’s Faithfulness
Lord, we thank You for the faith and love that Sabrina and Bubba have in You. We are grateful for their Christian foundation and for the hope they have in Christ. Your Word says:
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
We trust that You will use even this challenging season for Your glory and their good.


Father, we entrust Sabrina and her family to You, believing in Your healing power and unfailing love. Surround them with support, strengthen their faith, and bring healing and peace to their lives. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
