Thank you, Gwenin for reaching out and sharing your concern for your daughter. We are here to pray and offer guidance together.
Let's remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ, and it is through His name that we can approach God the Father with our prayers. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
And in Acts 4:12 WEB
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We need to pray for your daughter. For young girls, it is important to be rooted in God for confidence and identity. The world will tell her many things about who she should be and what she should do, but God's Word, the Bible, should be her foundation. Would it be possible to have some conversation with her about what she believes and what she thinks about God and Jesus? The most powerful time of growth is trusting Jesus and accepting Him as her Lord.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, and lift up Gwenin's daughter to You. Lord, You know her needs and the desires of her heart. We pray that You would strengthen her mental health, and fill her with a supernatural confidence that comes from knowing You and Your love.We pray for her to grow and trust in You daily and accepting Jesus as her Lord.
Father, we ask that You would help her to live and love like Jesus. May Your Holy Spirit guide her and give her the wisdom and discernment she needs to navigate this world. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from those who would seek to harm or mislead her.
Help her grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. May Jesus Christ be clear to her, as her Lord, in her life and understanding about Jesus Christ.
In Jesus name. Amen.
Please join with other Christian Believers in church and make sure she is engaging with them and being a disciple for Jesus. Let's remember the advice in Hebrews 10:25 WEB:
"Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another to maintain our spiritual zeal to keep meeting together; and all the more, as you see the day approaching."
May God also guide you, Gwenin, as you support and guide your daughter, as it is clear you desire a life like Jesus, full of love and confidence for her. . We are reminded of Proverbs 22:6 WEB:
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Please keep us informed about your daughter and how we can further pray and come beside you.
