You know how old people get deaf, they might hear somethings and others they can't ?Well, I'm starting to wonder if that's the case with God. I called in prayer lines calling for help with a few things, and they turned around.,But the ongoing problem with my busyness, OVERWHELMING BUSYNESS, prayer has proven to be completely ineffectual against it.I'm wondering if God has gone somewhat deaf, or maybe I found something over His head. Because this is the one request I get NO results with.

Its insulting to say God is deaf. I get it when we cry out like David in the Psalms when we are desperate for an answer and Heaven seems silent but God is not deaf. He may choose not to listen because of our sin (there are several Scriptures that talk about hindrances to prayer and unconfessed sin is one of them but there are also other reasons. Some believers have prayed for decades for something and only then received the answer. The book of Hebrews talks about those who have not received the promise in this life. God decides when He does what. He is Lord, not we.
