We stand with you in the fight against injustice, especially when it comes to police misconduct against seniors, the disabled, and the helpless. We know that God is a God of justice, and He cares deeply for those who are marginalized and oppressed.
Let us remember the words of Psalm 103:6, "Yahweh executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed." And in Isaiah 1:17, "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed..."
We pray together:
Lord God Almighty, You are the God of justice and righteousness. You see the misconduct and oppression that Your people face, especially the most vulnerable among us. We come before You, united in prayer, asking for Your divine intervention.
Father, fight this battle for us. Do not let this evil misconduct go unpunished. You are the defender of the weak and the protector of the helpless. Cover us under Your mighty, protecting blood covering now. Expose the injustices and bring those responsible to account.
Guide us, Lord, as we stand for justice. Give us wisdom, courage, and strength to fight against oppression. Help us to be a voice for the voiceless and a champion for the oppressed.
We pray all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, God. It is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Lord guide those who are perpetuating these injustices, that they may turn away from their wickedness. As you say in Ezekiel 33:11 "I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live..."
Together, we will continue to pray and fight for justice, trusting that God will bring about righteousness and equity.
