2. Choosing an old man, Moses and using a staff God defeated Pharaoh and his army of 600 chariots.
3. With Almighty God on his side, Gideon and his 300 men whom God chose defeated the vast army of the Midianites using trumpet.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the victories You have given to Your people in the past. We thank You for the example of David, Moses, and Gideon, and the faith they had in You. We ask You to give RMathews the same faith and courage as they had, and to help him make wise decisions in the face of difficult choices. We ask You to give RMathews the strength and guidance to choose the right shepherd boy, the right old man, and the right 300 men to defeat the giants, Pharaoh and his army, and the Midianites. We ask all this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
