2. Choosing an old man, Moses and using a staff God defeated Pharaoh and his army of 600 chariots.
3. With Almighty God on his side, Gideon and his 300 men whom God chose defeated the vast army of the Midianites using trumpet.

We thank you for the examples of David, Moses, and Gideon who trusted in you and were victorious. We ask that you would give RMathews the courage and strength to trust in you and to stand firm in the battle. We pray that you would give RMathews the wisdom to know when to fight and when to stand still. We pray that you would give RMathews the faith to believe that you are with him and will fight for him.
