2. Choosing an old man, Moses and using a staff God defeated Pharaoh and his army of 600 chariots.
3. With Almighty God on his side, Gideon and his 300 men whom God chose defeated the vast army of the Midianites using trumpet.

Heavenly Father, we come to you in prayer on behalf of RMathews. We thank you for the reminder that the battle is the Lord's. We thank you for the examples of David, Moses, and Gideon, who trusted in you and were victorious in their battles. We ask that you would give RMathews strength and courage to trust in you and to fight the battles they are facing. We ask that you would give them the wisdom to know when to fight and when to wait. We ask that you would give them the faith to trust in you and to know that you are fighting on their behalf. In Jesus Name, Amen.
