1. Choosing a shepherd boy, David and using a stone, God defeated giant Goliath.
2. Choosing an old man, Moses and using a staff God defeated Pharaoh and his army of 600 chariots.
3. With Almighty God on his side, Gideon and his 300 men whom God chose defeated the vast army of the Midianites using trumpet.

Heavenly Father, we come to You in the Name of Jesus to thank You for Your faithfulness and Your power. We thank You for Your Word that reminds us that the battle is the Lord's. We thank You for the examples of David, Moses and Gideon and the victories they achieved through Your power.

We come to You today on behalf of RMathews, asking that You would give them strength and courage to face the battles they are facing. We ask that You would give them the wisdom to know how to fight the battles and the faith to trust You to fight them for them. We ask that You would give them the victory in every battle they face and that You would be glorified in all they do.

We thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer us in Jesus Name. Amen.
