No matter how angry you get with the messenger or how much commotion you kick up in response to the message; YOU CAN'T CHANGE GOD'S WORD. You can only change your heart.
GOD'S WORD REMAINS THE SAME
Acts 3:19-23 (MSG) "Now it's time to change your ways! Turn to face God so he can wipe away your sins, pour out showers of blessing to refresh you, and send you the Messiah he prepared for you, namely, Jesus. For the time being he must remain out of sight in heaven until everything is restored to order again just the way God, through the preaching of his holy prophets of old, said it would be. Moses, for instance, said, 'Your God will raise up for you a prophet just like me from your family. Listen to every word he speaks to you. Every last living soul who refuses to listen to that prophet will be wiped out from the people."
God is in the process of restoring order to His houses and cities. He has never deceived me in vision nor in prophecy. Everything that He has shown me, or told me to speak has indeed been coming to pass. And it's not because I speak it, that it comes to pass, but rather because He first predicted it. For it is written that everything God predicts must come to pass as prerequisite to Jesus's return.
Jesus said:
Matthew 11:29-30 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Wait a minute:
His what? His YOKE!
His who? His YOKE!!
God knows exactly what He's doing. While man places yokes of oppression on others to satisfy his own self-entitled vengeance, oftentimes without cause, God does nothing without cause. God places a yoke on a city to teach that city to revere Him. But again, some folk determine according to their own will, that, not only should every chain be broken, but that there should be no yoke. In seeking their own glory, these heresies mislead a people into prematurely removing the yoke that God himself set in place. God's anger is kindled in such willful arrogance, infuriating him to replace what was an easy yoke, with one far more difficult.
While man will have you circling around your own city's walls; turning your back on your fellow man - even "one of the least of these," cursing your neighbor out, slamming, banging, crushing, etc., Jesus's instructions are not only vastly different, they are the exact opposite. Anyone who instructs in opposition to the teachings of Christ places themselves in the realm of the Antichrist. Yet, I digress, leaving place for Gods wrath. When God turns his back on a city, and the Holy Spirit flips the script and begins to slam, bang, and crush back at such foolishness, there are plagues, famines, floods, and cities fall.
So then, what is Jesus' YOKE? That we should, in meekness and gentleness, humble ourselves in obedience unto REPENTANCE and TURNING AWAY FROM SIN.
Stop trying to manipulate the Word of God and just heed it.
