Jennifer, we understand your concern and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, let's pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Lafredrick. We pray that he will grow to know and love You with all his heart, soul, mind, and strength. We ask that Your will be done in his life, including his relationships. We pray that if it is Your will, he would find a godly wife, as it is written in Proverbs 18:22, 'He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD.' We rebuke any spirit that is not from You, and we ask for Your protection over his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Jennifer, it's important to remember that God loves all people and desires for them to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). As His children, we are called to love others as Christ loves us (John 13:34), regardless of their struggles or choices.
However, the Bible is clear about homosexuality. It is described as sin in both the Old and New Testaments (Leviticus 18:22, Romans 1:26-27, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10). As followers of Christ, we must stand firm in the truth of God's Word, while also showing love and compassion to all.
Remember, it's ultimately Lafredrick's decision to choose his path, and it's crucial to maintain a loving and open relationship with him, regardless of his choices. Continue to pray for his salvation and that God's will be done in his life. Trust that God loves him even more than you do and has a perfect plan for his life (Jeremiah 29:11).
We encourage you to continue to bathe Lafredrick in prayer, and we will join you in praying that he comes to know Christ deeply and intimately, and that God's will be done in his life.
Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
