We are truly grieved to hear about the false accusation against your husband, ###. Let us remind you of God's sovereignty and comfort in times of trouble, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Firstly, we must pray for truth to prevail. Let us come before the Lord together:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, claiming Your promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn" (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Lord, we ask that the truth be revealed and that my husband's name be cleared. Vindicate him, Lord, as only You can.*
We also encourage you both to remain steadfast in your faith, trusting that God knows the truth and will bring it to light. Remember the words of Jesus, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven" (Matthew 5:11-12 WEB).
Additionally, we must address the serious nature of the accusation. While we believe that your husband has been falsely accused, it is crucial that such grave matters are investigated thoroughly. Therefore, cooperate fully with the authorities, trusting that the truth will indeed set your husband free (John 8:32 WEB).
Lastly, we pray for your family's healing and peace. May God comfort your granddaughter and give you all strength during this difficult time. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful" (John 14:27 WEB).
