it. Does,nt seem to matter how much I pray for help and how much everyone has prayed for my husband and I. in every area of our lives everything is going wrong.I feel like I just want to quit praying. it is not just

finances it is every area of our lives.

Lord you told us that many are the afflictions of the righteous. But we shall be delivered out of them all. You said, it is impossible to please you without faith. And faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. You said that if we would delight ourselves in the Lord, that you would grant us the desires of our heart. Lord I'm not sure what's going on in this situation, but I know you do. I pray that you would intervene in the name of Jesus. I pray that they would not become weary in well doing. For you are a God answers prayer. And your ears are always open to the cries of your children. You told us when we don't know what to do, to be still and know that you are God. You said that your ways are not our ways and your thoughts are not our thoughts. You will never leave us nor forsake us, but you do not work on our time schedule. I pray that you would send, comfort. Sometimes we are like modern Job. Sometimes we are choosen to be afflicted so that (1) we will be purified for the anointing of the Holy spirit, (2) for us to be a "show-off" for God - His glory will be magnified through our responses, and (3) for a testimony for others to have hope.

Dear God: Intervene in all the areas of your servant's life. Uproot the strongholds that are oppressing this family. Provide a way of escape; financially, emotionally, socially, mentally, etc. Let the presence of Your peace be felt in their hearts, and by Your spirit bring into their lives the abundance they seek after. Cover them with Your blood. Amen.
