Geirurhill, we understand that you're going through a difficult time and feel worried, but we're glad to hear that deep down, you believe God will save you. It's wonderful that you're holding onto the verse, "For we walk by faith, not by sight" from 2 Corinthians 5:7 (WEB). This is a powerful reminder of how we should live our lives as believers.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. It is only by His He will we can be saved. You may have heard the words "It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God." This is true! There is no other name by which we can be saved. (See Acts 4:12 WEB)
In the midst of worry, remember what the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Instead of worrying, turn your concerns into prayers, knowing that God cares for you.
We also want to encourage you to meditate on Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in the midst of your struggles.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Geirurhill to you, asking for your comfort and peace to fill their heart. Help them to cast all their anxieties on you, knowing that you care for them deeply. Guide them through this difficult time, and help them to walk by faith, not by sight. Remind them of your unfailing love and faithfulness, and help them to trust in your good purposes. We ask this all in Jesus' name.
As a final note, whenever you are concerned or worried, always feel free to come to us for prayer and counseling. We will always hold you up in prayer, guided by the word of God.
