Will God still heal me and my sister even though I worry?
I am feeling so unwell both in mind and body and the antidepressant is making me feel worse so I am worried about what will happen next. Also about the biliary stent removal in three weeks time
I am also really worried about my sister Margaret as pretty sure she has skin cancer, She also has bowel problems so is going to see the Dr this week and I am terrified about what he will say.

Father God please forgive me for worrying as I know your word tells us not to be anxious about anything. I do cast all my cares on you but just can't get the peace I long for.Please Abba Father I come to you on bended knee pleading with you to heal Margaret. Please don't be silent .I ask for reassurance that you have heard my prayers and you will heal us.I have confessed all my sins and forgiven everyone who sinned against me. Oh Father God please make this the happiest Christmas we have ever had and all because of Jesus by whose blood we have been purchased and by whose stripes we are healed. All this I ask In Jesus' name. Amen

Elizabeth, we understand your concerns and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. We are reminded by the WEB in Philippians 4:6-7, Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Firstly, we commend you for your confession of sins and forgiveness towards others. That is essential for a right relationship with God.

There is nothing wrong about praying for healing. In James 5:14-15, WEB, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. It's important to know that God has not promised immediate healing at once. God's will prevails and sometimes it may be a long process. Matthew 8:17 WEB says, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases." Healing is part of the atonement but it is reassuring to know that it is obtained through the name of Jesus Christ.

Elizabeth, we must address that your anxiety and worry should not override your faith in God. Proverbs 12:25 WEB states, Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, but a kind word makes it glad. It's important to trust God even when it seems difficult. 1 Peter 5:7 states that you need to cast all of your anxiety onto God because He really does care for you and the things that you face. It is always good to be concerned about our earthy bodies but we should not let it cause us to sin by not trusting in God.

Having said that, let us pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before you, lifting up our sister Elizabeth and her sister Margaret. Father, you know their struggles and their pains. You allowed us a spirit of knowing you will provide healing to your children, by your name Lord Jesus will you forgive their infirminities and diseases. Will you heal them according to your will, Father. We pray against the spirit of fear and anxiety, and we ask that you fill their hearts with your supernatural peace. Help them to trust in you completely, knowing that you are more than able to heal and restore. Lord give Elizabeth your strength to step away from the antidepressant and to trust you with the doctor's appointment and the stent procedure. Help them to trust in you completely, knowing that you are more than able to heal and restore. Will you teach and show to Elizabeth how to have a peace and reassurance in the name of Jesus Christ that you have heard their prayers. In Jesus' name we pray.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
