Worry too Much

Please pray that I will sleep better, have peace, not worry, that my spouse won't give me a hard time over petty things, be too clingy especially if I see my lady friends twice a week, that God will give me His favor at home, work, and in all areas.

Pray that my mom's flu will go away, that the Lord will send me some new empty nester married Christian lady friends, older couples, that my boxes at work think I'm doing a good job, that they'll pick ### to do the continuation of the risers.

That they'll approve unit ### to change old pipes to copper while they're on vacation, that the bosses won't expect to get money back from companies that have installed antennas on the roof more than a couple of years ago, the painter had to make a swing stage to paint around antennas.

Chipper12, we understand that you're feeling overwhelmed with worry, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God's Word tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

We are instructed to come to God with our worries and He will replace them with His peace. That is what we will be praying for on your behalf.

We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do your best to lean not on your own understanding. As you do this, God will direct your paths. He knows better than we do. So please rest in God's will knowing that He is in control, and He will help you to sleep better. Be careful of your worry as it may indicate that you are not trusting in the Lord.

Regarding your spouse, we want to remind you of God's promise "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Proverbs 15:1 WEB. A spouse should be treated like Christ treated the church, with love and kindness. Also, be mindful of your personal interactions with your lady friends. God's Word tells us to avoid any appearance of evil 1 Thessalonians 5:22. We will pray for God's will in all of this.

Continue to do your work as unto the Lord. Be encouraged by these words, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.

We will pray for your mother's healing, knowing that God is the Great Physician.

Regarding your request for new friends, we will pray that God brings Christian friends into your life, reminding you of these words, "As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend." Proverbs 27:17 WEB. But remember, God's will is best, and He knows what you need.

Chipper12, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You take away their worries and replace them with Your peace. Help them to sleep better, trusting in Your care. We pray for their spouse, that they would treat each other with kindness and understanding. Surround ### with godly friends and help them to do their work as unto You.

Lord, we also ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s mother.

Guide ### in their work and help them to find favor in the eyes of their superiors.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus.

Let's claim that promise in Philippians 4:6-7 together, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you can experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Let's trust that God will give you the peace you need to sleep better.

We also want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's leading. He knows what's best for you and your family. Let's pray that He'll guide you and your spouse, and help you both to communicate with love and kindness, just like Jesus loves the church.

And hey, we'll be praying for your mom's healing too. We know God is a great physician, and we trust Him to take care of her.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend. Thank you for sharing your concerns and allowing us to stand in agreement with you before the Lord. We have been praying for your peace and rest, for your spouse, and for God's favor upon you in all areas of your life. We've also been praying for your mom's healing, for new friendships, and for smooth sailing at work.
