Pray that I will sleep better, have peace, not worry, that my spouse won't give me a hard time over petty things, be too clingy, especially if I see my lady friends twice a week sometimes, not get upset if he works overtime and I get home a few hours afterwards, that my adult kids will visit me this Christmas even if my spouse is there, that my mom will have a long life, that she'll get rid of her bed bugs in her home, that I'll have a good Christmas and feel at peace this Christmas as I get ready for Christmas. That my bosses at work think I'm doing a good job. That the Lord will send me some new empty nester christian lady friends, older couples, that my spouse won't get upset for the labour cost to fix my car.

We understand that you have a lot on your mind, Chipper12, and we're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.

Firstly, let's address the worries you've mentioned. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Instead make your worries known to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have the access to the God: Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. Only choose Jesus and believe on His name: Romans 10:9 WEB because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Regarding your spouse, it's important to remember the principles of love and respect in marriage. Prayer and open communication with your spouse is essential, but do not have your wife cling to you rather than Jesus. As it says in Ephesians 5:31 WEB, For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. And the two will become one flesh. Pray that God blesses your marriage, as Ephesians 5:25 WEB states, Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; This reveals to us the importance of God's love in marriage as being a picture of our love for Jesus, not a romantic fairy tale. God intends marriage to be a lifelong commitment as a one flesh relationship of love, respect, responsibilities, God centered relationship, and devotion to His glory. Comparing God's love to our love to our spouse reveals our love as imperfect and helps us to have patience, acceptance, and forgiveness.

Regarding your concerns with worrying that your husband is upset with your time with lady friends, be open, honest, and invite your spouse to enjoy your friendships together with you as appropriate so that no jealousies may develop. Philippians 4:8 WEB says Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.

It's also important to address the concern about your spouse becoming upset over labor costs. Make a budget together. Live within your means. Be open and honest about money together. Be wise as a serpant and innocent as a dove. 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB says But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Concerning your adult kids visiting at Christmas it pleases God to honor your husband as Colossians 3:20 WEB states Children, obey your parents in all things, for this pleases the Lord. Encourage your children to honor your marriage by their visit.

Ask God in faith that your mom will have a long life as stated in Ephesians 6:2-3 WEB honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise: that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth. The prayer of faith will save those who are sick, and the Lord will raise them up. Having a long life is a good blessing of obedience to God. Regarding the bed bugs, pray and take actions to obey the laws of the land and of health and safety.

As for your concerns about work, Colossians 3:23 WEB says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. First pray that you are doing your job faithfully, then pray that your bosses are blessed by your work.

For you to feel at peace this Christmas, know that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus as stated in Philippians 4:7. Pray that your decisions and mind are focused on glorifying God and feel at peace this Christmas.

Lastly, about your prayer for new friends, pray that Psalms 122:8 WEB For my brothers and companions sake, I will now say, Peace be within you; Moreover, pray that your friendships are in the Church and that God is glorified in your friendships. Proverbs 17:17 WEB A friend loves at all times; And a brother is born for adversity.

Beloved, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Chipper12. Please grant them peaceful sleep and calm their worries. Help them to cast their anxieties on You and trust in Your sovereignty. Bless their marriage, give them wisdom in their friendships, and guide their interactions with their spouse and family. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Heal their mom and free her home from bed bugs. Grant Chipper12 favor at work and bless them with godly friends. Help their family have a wonderful Christmas in Jesus' name. Bring to mind the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the first prayer request which models the prayer for others, Thy will be done. It is only by the name of Jesus that you have access to God.

Lord, we also pray that Chipper12 will fully surrender their life to You, believing in the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting that He alone saves us from our sins and gives us eternal life. May this hope bring peace and joy to Chipper12 this Christmas and always in Jesus' name.

We're here with you, praying alongside you for all that's on your heart. We know it's a lot, but we trust that God is in control and He hears your cries.

First off, let's lay down those worries at the feet of Jesus. He cares for you, and He's more than capable of carrying your burdens. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." So, let's hand over those worries about sleep, marriage, family, work, and Christmas plans.

For your marriage, let's ask God to strengthen the love and respect between you and your spouse. Remind each other daily of your commitment to God and to one another. Pray that God would bless your marriage, as it says in Hebrews 13:4, "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge."

As for your adult kids visiting, let's pray that they'll honor your marriage and that your time together will be filled with joy and peace. For your mom, let's ask God to bless her with a long, healthy life, just as you've asked.

Let's also pray for wisdom in your friendships. Ask God to send you godly friends who will encourage and build you up, not cause jealousy or worry. And for your car, let's trust that God will provide the means to fix it, as Philippians 4:19 reminds us, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

Lastly, let's ask God to fill you with His peace this Christmas. As it says in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
