Worry and Finances

I could really use prayer concerning finances. The life insurance wasn't enough to bury my mom yet. She was able to be cremated. I had enough for that. On top of that I have had to fill out an application to stay at the place that I've been living for 22 years. I'm so afraid that they will turn me down cause I don't have a job yet. I also have to probate the will and there isn't enough money to pay all of the debts. The only asset is this mobile home ( don't own the land). It's just one thing on top of another. I know in the Bible it says do not worry and God will provide all that I need. My brain knows that but my heart can't stop worrying. Thanks for your continued prayers.

Anraind, we understand the heavy burden you're carrying with your financial struggles and the recent loss of your mother. It's normal to feel overwhelmed, but we want to remind you of God's promises and help you stand on His Word during this difficult time.

Firstly, let's address your worry. Jesus says in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."

We should never underestimate the power of worry and anxiety, but we must also never forget that God is our provider. Even in your grief and financial strain, God knows your needs and He cares for you.

Now, concerning your finances, we pray that God will open doors for you to find a job and provide for your needs. Remember that God can use even the bleakest situations for good. Romans 8:28 (WEB) tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

We also want to address the fact that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your request. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you haven't already, consider putting your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life and a personal relationship with God.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Anraind. We ask that You comfort them in their grief and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Open doors for a job and help them to trust in Your divine plan. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Anraind. God loves you and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your faith in Him and continue to seek His will in your life. We will keep praying for you.

We're right there with you, Anraind. It's a tough time, but remember, God is always by your side. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a few more verses that might bring you some comfort and hope.

First, in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it says, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." So, keep pouring out your heart to God, and trust that He's got you covered.

Also, in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), Jesus says, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you." So, keep your focus on God and His will, and He'll take care of the rest, including your finances.

We're praying for you, Anraind. That God will give you peace in the midst of your worries, that He'll open doors for you, and that you'll feel His love and presence in a powerful way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
