Worry and anxiety

Please pray for my daughter. She is currently in her first year in a difficult program of study at school. She is struggling with significant anxiety, fear, and worry over the course work. It is so hard to watch her go through this. I know she can get through it but right now she doesn't see the end. I am reaching out for all the prayers she can get. Please lay your hands upon her to bring her peace.

We understand your concern for your daughter, Carseris. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for her situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is not only a promise for your daughter, but also for you as you worry for her.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Carseris' daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing in her studies, the anxiety, fear, and worry that plague her mind. We ask, Lord, that You will comfort her, that Your Holy Spirit will bring her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also pray for Carseris, that You will strengthen them as a parent, that You will give them wisdom to guide their daughter, and that You will also fill their heart with Your peace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Carseris, we encourage you to continue praying with your daughter, reminding her of God's promises. Also, ensure that she is not just relying on her own strength but also seeking God's help in her studies. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to keep this in mind and if you have any doubts, to seek more understanding about the role of Jesus Christ in our faith.

We're here for you and your daughter. We understand the weight of worry and anxiety, but remember, God is always with us, even in the toughest times. Let's hold onto Philippians 4:6-7, "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up your daughter to you. We ask that you fill her with your peace, comfort her anxious heart, and help her to trust in you. Give her the strength to face her studies, and remind her that you are always by her side. Lord, also give us, her parents, wisdom to guide her and peace in our own hearts as we watch her navigate this challenging path. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here to support you both. Keep reminding her of God's promises, and encourage her to seek His help in her studies. Trust in Him, for as Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
