Worry and anxiety

Please pray for my daughter. She is currently in her first year in a difficult program of study at school. She is struggling with significant anxiety, fear, and worry over the coursework. It is so hard to watch her go through this. I know she can get through it but right now she doesn't see the end. I am reaching out for all the prayers she can get. Please lay your hands upon her to bring her peace.

We understand your concern for your daughter, ###. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for her situation.

Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is not only a promise for your daughter, but also for you as you worry for her.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s daughter to You. Lord, You know the struggles she's facing in her studies, the anxiety, fear, and worry that plague her mind. We ask, Lord, that You will comfort her, that Your Holy Spirit will bring her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we also pray for ###, that You will strengthen them as a parent, that You will give them wisdom to guide their daughter, and that You will also fill their heart with Your peace.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Give her the strength to face her studies, and remind her that you are always by her side. Lord, also give us, her parents, wisdom to guide her and peace in our own hearts as we watch her navigate this challenging path. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here to support you both. Keep reminding her of God's promises, and encourage her to seek His help in her studies.
