We understand that you are feeling anxious about your upcoming doctor's appointment and the X-ray that you have been avoiding. First, let's address the worry and fear you are experiencing. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.
It's important to remember that God is sovereign, and He loves you deeply. Even when we face uncertain situations, we can trust that He is in control. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Avoiding medical advice can be dangerous. It is wise to follow the recommendations of medical professionals, as God can work through them to help us. Remember, Jesus healed many sick people and we should not be afraid to seek healing, medical help and diagnosis.
Regarding your lungs, we pray that God will guide your doctors to make wise decisions and that He will bring complete healing to your body. "LORD, my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me" Psalm 30:2 WEB.
We also want to address the importance of pleasing God rather than friends. While it's good to have the support of friends, our primary focus should be on obeying and pleasing God. "For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I yet pleased men, I would not be a servant of Christ" Galatians 1:10 WEB.
Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Jeulfourhaven. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind as they prepare for the doctor's appointment. Give them the courage to face whatever may come, and guide the medical professionals to make wise decisions. Bring complete healing to their lungs, in the mighty name of Jesus. Help them to fix their eyes on You and not be distracted by the expectations of others. We ask that Your will be done in their life, and that they would find comfort and strength in You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
