We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to pray and offer guidance. First, we want to remind you that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB)
Regarding forgiveness, it's important to remember that God is merciful. As it is written in Psalm 103:8-12, "Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. He will not always accuse; neither will he stay angry forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor repaid us for our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is his loving kindness toward those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
However, we must confess our sins and necessarily strive to turn away and stop them. It is written in Proverbs 28:13 WEB, "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." We see in Romans 2:4 WEB, "Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?".
We must also be aware of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus Christ. For, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB. And in John 14:6 WEB, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." So it is important to pray in Jesus' name.
Concerning your stress and worries, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is going through a difficult time. We ask for your forgiveness and mercy upon them. We pray that the blood of Jesus would cover any stress and sin causing an open door for the devil to operate. Give them the strength to overcome these challenges and help them to rely on your grace to overcome sin. Father God, we rebuke the enemy from stealing credit for the work they have done in Jesus name. We rebuke the enemy and cancel any assignments of stress or sickness, and also pray for their family's health concerns. We ask you to supernaturally intervene in the upcoming exam help them to remember all they have studied, give them a good night's rest and a sound mind. Give them the grace to overcome their vices instead of using them to cope with stress. We thank you, Lord, for your unfailing love and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!"
