Beloved of All
My ### who I have been estranged from for years. She called last night. Didn’t call back. I’m scared what is going on with her.

SisterWe are glad you reached out, and we will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance from the Word of God. First, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our beloved in Christ who is worried about their daughter from whom they have been estranged. We ask, Lord, that You comfort their heart and remove all anxiety and fear. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. We also pray for their daughter, Lord, that You would protect her and draw her close to You. Soften her heart and bring reconciliation to their relationship. We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, amen.
It is natural for a parent to worry, but we should always remember the promises of God. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God cares for you and your daughter deeply. Trust in Him to work in her life and in your relationship with her. We are also called to be anxious for nothing in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We commend you for your love and concern for your daughter but remember that true love also involves correction and guidance. If there have been past issues that caused the estrangement, be open to addressing them biblically. If there is unforgiveness then forgive fully as Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Remember that you did not mention the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, Christ, or another form of it in your prayer request. It is only by his name that we have access to God for salvation. As it says in Acts 4:10-12 WEB: "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Now, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter. Intercede for her, asking God to work in her life and draw her closer to Him. We are trusting God for a full restoration of your relationship. Also, pray for wisdom and discernment to know how to approach the situation and to understand what might be happening in her life.
Lastly, we are here for you. If you need further guidance or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out. We are a community of believers ready to support you in every way we can. Keep trusting God, and keep lifting your daughter up to the Lord. He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will.
