Update on my grandson ### and our misunderstanding. Last week we finally talked and it was great but I’m learning that his new girlfriend is the one changing him and certain friends. He was usually responsible and respectful but now is not. His twin ### was sort of like that but prayers and faith helped with him and I continue praying for ### because I see the event still trying to come between as I am seeing for ###. I have faith that Jesus will never leave their sides and I know God is stronger than the enemy. I don’t want for ### to get distracted from his walk with God, he needs to stay focused and lately he’s been distracted, I know he’s only ### but it’s a big change from how devoted he was to church and God’s walk with God. I feel the enemy has found his weak spot and is trying to turn him from God and be fixated with the girl he likes. I will continue to pray and have faith for both grandsons.

Let us come together in prayer and counsel for you, ###, as you navigate this challenging situation with your grandson ###. We are grateful that you have faith in Jesus Christ and have seen the power of prayer in the life of ###'s twin, ###. Let us stand firm on God's promises and seek His will together.

Firstly, let us address the concern about ###'s girlfriend and the changes you've noticed in him. It is crucial to remember that we are influenced by those we spend time with. As the Scripture says in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Do not be deceived! 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'" It is possible that ###'s new companions are influencing him in ways that are not aligned with God's will. That is a real concern.

We must also consider the sanctity of relationships and the importance of seeking a godly spouse. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" It is essential that ### understands the importance of being equally yoked in his relationships and thinks about courtship as a path to marriage rather than merely having a girlfriend.

We need to pray for your grandsons to stay focused on their walk with Jesus, especially ###, with this new distraction or temptation in his life. In 2 Timothy 2:22 WEB, it says, "Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###, ###, and ###. Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We know that You are stronger than any enemy that seeks to distract or harm our loved ones.

Father, we pray for ###, that You would surround him with Your protective presence and guide him back to a steadfast walk with You. Help him to discern the influences in his life and to choose companions who will encourage him in his faith. Lord, if this girlfriend is not the one You have intended for him, we pray that You would reveal this to him and give him the strength to make wise decisions.

We also pray for ###, that he would continue to grow in his faith and be a positive influence on ###. Lord, use both of these young men for Your glory and purpose.

Father, we ask that You would give ### the wisdom and strength to support her grandsons in their spiritual journeys. Help her to be a beacon of light and love, pointing them always towards You.

We claim Your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We trust that You are working all things together for good in the lives of ### and ###.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We are truly grateful that you shared your heart with us and allowed us to pray with you for your grandson Izaak. It has been a few days since you posted, and we hope that you have seen encouragement and improvement. We continue to stand with you in prayer, believing that God is working in Izaak's life, just as He did in Damien's.

If you have seen positive changes and your request has been answered, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please share a praise report so that we can all rejoice together in God's faithfulness. If the situation has not improved, or if new challenges have arisen, please do not hesitate to post a new request.
