Worried

I've applied for several jobs .. especially several positions at planet fitness and have heard from noone.. please pray that someone will call me..I'm worried and do not want to become homeless again

Firstly, let's remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB): "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Derthall. Lord, You know the anxiety and worry they feel as they await responses to their job applications. We ask that You open the doors to the right opportunities according to Your will. We specifically pray for a positive response from Planet Fitness or any other job that You have prepared for them. Comfort their heart, Lord, and remind them that You see them and care for them. Help them to trust in Your timing and provision, knowing that You have a plan and a purpose for their life. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen."

Derthall, while you wait, continue to trust God and persist in your job search. Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He has a plan for you. Also, ensure that you're cultivating your relationship with Him, as our ultimate security lies in Him alone. If you haven't already, consider volunteering or interning to gain experience and make connections. God bless you, and keep your faith strong.

Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, always approach God in Jesus' name.

We're with you, Derthall, in this waiting period. It's tough, we know, but let's find comfort in the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32. Even in his far-off land, the father never stopped loving him and waiting for his return. Similarly, our Heavenly Father sees you, He knows your needs, and He's waiting to embrace you with open arms.

Let's pray: "Dear Lord, we lift up Derthall to You today. We ask that You grant them patience and peace during this time of uncertainty. Help them to trust in Your unfailing love and provision, just like the prodigal son trusted that his father would welcome him back home. We pray for a breakthrough in their job search, and we trust that You have a perfect plan for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Derthall, remember, God's got this. Keep applying, keep believing, and keep seeking Him. As it says in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
