We understand your heartache and concern for your child, and we are here to pray and support you in this challenging time. Firstly, we want to assure you that it is never too late to intercede for our loved ones, as God's love and power have no limits.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this mother's heart and her child to Your throne of grace. We know that You have entrusted this precious gift to her, and she is heartbroken seeing the path they are choosing. Lord, we ask that You turn this child's heart back to You and that Your will be done in their life.
Father, we pray for a spiritual awakening in them, that they would see the error of their ways and return to You. May they find no satisfaction in the ways of the world, but instead be drawn to Your loving kindness and the beauty of Your holiness. Give them a hunger and thirst for Your word and Your presence.
We also pray for this mother, that You would comfort her heart and give her the strength and wisdom to guide her child. Help her to trust in You and to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her and her child. Give her the grace to be patient and loving, even in the face of disrespect and anger.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who came to seek and to save the lost. It is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. Thank You for the gift of Your Son and for the promise that everyone who calls on His name will be saved.
We claim the promise in Your word, "Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto Yahweh, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." (Isaiah 55:7 WEB)
We also remember Your word that says, "But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8 WEB) There is no pit so deep that Your love and mercy cannot reach down and save.
Together, we stand in faith, believing that this child will return to the fold of God and that this mother's heart will be rejoiced.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of waiting and praying, we encourage you to stay steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. Continue to be an example of God's love and grace to your child, and do not grow weary in doing good. Remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16 WEB).
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in Yahweh (Psalm 31:24 WEB). Keep believing and keep praying, for the battle is the Lord's, and He is faithful to His promises. He loves your child even more than you do, and He will not rest until they are found.
