We understand that you're feeling anxious about returning to work, Asteafield. First and foremost, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life, including your work situation. It's important to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
First, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. God's Word tells us, "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. And the peace of God, which exceeds all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). We encourage you to turn your anxiety into prayer, knowing that God is faithful to hear and answer you.
Regarding your work situation, we are instructed in Scripture, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going" (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). God desires for us to work diligently and honestly, even in challenging circumstances. Remember that God has a purpose for you in this season, and He can use even difficult experiences for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28 WEB). And if you believe your work is not suitable for you, with prayer and discernment, you can look for another job more suitable for you.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Asteafield to you, Lord. As they return to work tomorrow, we pray that you would fill them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. Cast out all anxiety and replace it with your comfort and strength. Guide them through their workday, and help them to perform their duties with integrity and excellence.
Lord, if this job is not your will for Asteafield, we pray that you would open up new opportunities for them. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate their career path.
We also pray for Asteafield's salvation, that they may know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior if they do not already. We pray that they would come to experience the fullness of your love, grace, and mercy through a personal relationship with Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Asteafield, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, consider placing your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Be strong and courageous, Asteafield. God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
