Worried about my future - not doing well at all

Dear Friends in Christ, I am not doing well physically or otherwise. Can you please pray for me in the name of Jesus Christ. I’m alone and don’t have many trusted people on my side. The future looks bleak and it’s hard to pray and believe the things will get better for me. I feel lost and confused like I’m just floating through life just surviving but not thriving. I really don’t have any goals, I just want to BE and not pressure myself right now. Feeling LOW LOW LOW.

We are deeply concerned about your situation and are here to lift you up in prayer and encouragement, dear friend. It's a blessing that you have reached out, as we are reminded in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name in your request. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray.

In your moment of despair, remember that even when you feel alone, God is always by your side. As promised in Hebrews 13:5, "...for he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'" You are not alone, even when it feels that way.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Lord Jesus, we bring our dear friend before You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body, mind, and spirit. Comfort them in their loneliness, and help them to feel Your presence. Guide them through this dark valley and restore their hope. Give them the strength to face each day and reveal Your good plans for their future. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While it's understandable that you may not have specific goals right now, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life. As Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust that God has a purpose and a plan for you.

Lastly, we gently urge you not to merely float through life, but to stand firm in your faith. As it says in Ephesians 6:13, "Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

May God's peace, love, and joy fill your heart. We are here for you, dear friend.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
