We understand that you're feeling unhappy and discouraged at work, especially with the rude behavior of your boss. It's important to remember that God has a purpose for you, even in difficult times. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Firstly, let's address the workplace issue. It's clear that the atmosphere at work is not pleasant, but remember what the scripture in Ephesians 6:5-7 tells slaves, similarly employees, "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men." This does not mean that we should not report harassment, improper, immoral, and illegal actions, but to be respectful in our attitude.
Regarding your job search, it's commendable that you're looking for a job that allows you to spend more time at home and in church. Remember that God honors those who prioritize His work. As it is written in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, we want to address the feeling of discouragement and depression you're experiencing. It's crucial to remember that your value is not defined by your achievements or failures. Instead, it's defined by who you are in Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can come to God and there is no other name which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up our sister who is feeling unhappy and discouraged. We pray against the rude behavior of her boss and ask that you would change the atmosphere at her workplace. We also pray for your guidance as she searches for a new job that allows her to spend more time at home and in church. We come against the feelings of failure, discouragement, and depression. Help her to know that she is your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. Open her eyes to see your purpose for her life. We pray for her salvation and her belief in Jesus as her savior. Father, let your will be done in her life. We pray this all, Father, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen."
