We understand that you have been trying to secure a better-paying job at Walmart, but have not had any success yet. We want to encourage you and lift you up in prayer, trusting that God has a plan and a purpose for your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
However, we noticed that your request does not mention Jesus to pray through. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Therefore, we pray to God through His son Jesus who provided the way for us to talk to God. We call this prayer.
When we pray, as said in John 14:13 WEB "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
So, let us pray for you, asking for you:
Let us pray together in Jesus:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Katagonyria, who is seeking better employment at Walmart. Father God, Lord, in your will, let the favor of Walmart and the Lord be upon their business as the Lord sees fit. We ask that Your will be done in Katagonyria’s life. We ask that You provide an opportunity for Katagonyria that they would find favor with Walmart as the Lord sees fit in your will Lord.
We also pray that through this process, she will draw closer to You, seeking Your face and Your guidance. Help her to trust in You, even in times of uncertainty.
Lord, we ask you these things in the name of Jesus.
Amen.
Katagonyria, we also encourage you to seek God's will in your life. Sometimes because of our desires, we only see the positive outcomes we imagine for our future. However, we must always remember that only if it is the will of God, our desires may come to be. Also, we must always remember that our struggles and hardships are God's will also. They may be to refine and make us better in the long run. For this, Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Whatever the outcome, trust that God is working everything together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. He has you and will provide according to His will what you need. It may not be what you want. But it will be what God knows is best.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths, as admonished in Proverbs 3:5-6.
