Anonymous, we understand your struggle as a private tutor awaiting new clients. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord together.
Firstly, we commend you for seeking the Lord's help and acknowledging His power by ending your request "In Jesus Name." It's crucial to remember that Jesus is our intercessor, and it's through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:15-16, WEB).
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is in need of work and clients as a private tutor. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the anxiety of waiting, and the disappointment when potential clients don't follow through. We ask, Lord, that You create a need for their services, that You touch the hearts and minds of those who require tutoring, and guide them to our brother/sister.
We claim Your promise in Matthew 6:31-33, WEB: 'Therefore donβt be anxious, saying, βWhat will we eat?β, βWhat will we drink?β or, βWith what will we be clothed?β For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.'
Help our brother/sister to keep their focus on You, trusting that You will provide, and giving them the strength to endure and persevere.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. Consider this a time of preparation and growth. Keep improving your skills, preparing innovative teaching methods, and reaching out to potential clients as you feel led. The Book of Proverbs has much to say about diligence, and Proverbs 13:4, WEB, reminds us that "The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing, but the desire of the diligent shall be fully satisfied."
Stay diligent, keep praying, and trust that God is working on your behalf.
