We understand your struggle with anxiety at work and we are here to support you in prayer and biblical guidance. Firstly, we remind you that God's word tells us, "Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is battling with anxiety at work. Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, casting out all fear and worry. Help them to face each task with confidence, knowing that their abilities come from You. Guide them in their interactions with colleagues, fostering a respectful and comfortable working environment. May they excel in their tasks, bearing witness to Your goodness and grace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's promises. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Trust in His strength and wisdom to guide you through each workday.
Additionally, we note that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. We believe it is important to pray in Jesus' name because, as the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through Jesus that we have access to God, so we encourage you to keep this in mind as you pray.
Lastly, strive to honor God in your workplace, treating others with respect and kindness, reflecting the love of Christ. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." (Colossians 3:23 WEB)
