Thank you for bringing this to us. We are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your need for God's wisdom and humility in this situation. It is crucial to remember that our attitude and words should always reflect Christ, especially in challenging discussions. As it is written in Colossians 3:12-14 WEB:
"Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our fellow believer who is preparing for a difficult discussion with their supervisor. We ask, Lord, that You grant them the wisdom needed to navigate this conversation effectively. Fill their heart with humility, and guide their words so that they may speak with grace and truth.
Help them to approach this meeting with a Christ-like attitude, demonstrating love, kindness, and patience. We know that You have a plan in every situation we face, and we trust in Your sovereignty.
We also pray for their supervisor, that they may be receptive and understanding. May this conversation lead to a positive outcome that aligns with Your will.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
