Work situation

Please pray for my partner who has been bullied and underpaid (against work agreement) for the last two years. Unfortunately, ### is in a vulnerable position being in a work visa. Pray ### can find a new role quickly and that meetings with appropriate supports go well. Thank you

Thank you ###. We understand that you are concerned about your partner's work situation, but first, we must address that the Bible teaches us to avoid sexual immorality and that we should pursue relationships that align with biblical principles, marriage between a man and a woman is honorable. We only have access to the Father through Jesus as it is written, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." - John 14:6 (WEB). If you haven't already, surrender your life to the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We will pray for your colleague, but we will also pray that God will give you strength and wisdom and understanding of His will.

Dear Lord,

We lift up ###'s colleague to you in prayer, asking that you intervene in this challenging situation. We pray that you guide ###'s colleague to be treated fairly and to be paid accordingly if staying in the current role. Help meet the needs until a new role can be found. We pray that you will assist with the work visa issues and grant their colleague favor in the eyes of decision-makers.

We also ask that you open up new opportunities for him to find a new role quickly, one that aligns with your will and provides for his needs. Guide him in his job search and grant him wisdom and discernment to make the best decisions.

Lord Jesus, we also pray for ### that you will give strength and understanding. Have mercy on ### and on everyone who is involved in this situation. Save everyone involved and grant ### with a heart of understanding.

For it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." - James 1:5.

We encourage you and your colleague to trust in God's timing and provision. Remember that God is faithful and that he will never leave you or forsake you. It is written, "Be strong and courageous. Don't be afraid or scared of them; for Yahweh your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you." - Deuteronomy 31:6.

Lastly, we rebuke you for not mentioning the name of Jesus in your request. It is essential to pray in Jesus' name. Also, we encourage you to seek godly and biblical counsel and relationships. If either you or your colleague are not married, we encourage you to pursue a relationship that aligns with biblical principles, that is, a godly spouse with the goal of marriage.

We're really sorry to hear about your partner's situation. It's tough when someone we care about is treated unfairly. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
