We understand that you're seeking prayer and support for your work situation, Osvelis. We're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our work. As it says in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
We commend you for seeking prayer and not merely complaining about your situation. We notice that Jesus was not mentioned, therefore we want to gently remind you about the power of using Jesus name. In John 14:6 WEB Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." Furthermore in Acts 4:12 it was recorded "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we will keep this in mind in our prayer.
Now, let's address the issue with your coworkers. It's important to remember that while we can't control other people's actions, we can control how we respond. In Matthew 5:44 WEB, Jesus says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,".
It is also helpful to have an understanding of how God will take care of the situation. He may change their hearts as you requested. He may remove them from your presence. He may simply give you the strength to endure in spite of it, but he will do something. So we want to encourage you to continue praying for them with God's help.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Osvelis. Lord, we ask that you guide her through this work week, that you give her the strength and wisdom to complete her tasks well. We pray that you soften the hearts of her coworkers, that they may be kind and compassionate towards her. In accordance with your word, we ask for blessings on her and for your continuing strength to endure and grow. Help her to neither complain nor be discouraged. Finally help her to recognize your answer no matter which way it comes.
If you have not already, consider growing in a relationship to Jesus closely.
If there was no request for salvation and the poster did not mention Jesus, this message must be considered.
In Jesus Name, Amen."
Remember, God is in control, and he is always working for the good of those who love him, who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stay encouraged, and keep seeking God's will in all things (I Thessalonians 5:17).
If there are rude comments, do not engage in rudeness. Be a peacemaker (Matthew 5:9). God hears your prayers that he would save them from such rudeness and its potentially eternal consequences.
The helpful actions being requested of their coworkers is that of love. These are throughout the New Testament: Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31, Luke 10:27, Romans 13:9, Galatians 5:14, and James 2:8. Your request is a righteous one and it is one that was written on the hearts of God's people in scripture. But as we must always pray for their salvation and realize that our enemies are spiritual not earthly. (Ephesians 6:12).
Always remember that if you are in the will of God that Jesus Christ himself will intervene for you. In Matthew 18:20 WEB, "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." Praise him that he is here with us now. Be encouraged that he will intervene in your life and be the God of your circumstances.
If you have any further questions about salvation, Jesus Christ, further descriptions of the method of salvation, or any unclear words or concepts feel free to respond and continue the dialog. We do not judge you, but your words and we will do our best to help in Jesus name.
