We understand your concerns, Rafiradh, and we're here to support you in prayer and counsel. We're glad you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name in your request.
Firstly, let's remember the biblical principle of honoring and respecting our authorities, including our workplace senior. In 1 Peter 2:18, WEB, it's written, "Servants, be subject to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked." While it can be challenging to work with someone who may not pull their weight, we should still treat them with respect and kindness, as unto the Lord.
However, this doesn't mean we can't pray for a change in the situation. Let's pray for wisdom for you to handle this situation, and for your senior to have a change of heart. In James 1:5, WEB, it says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Regarding your praying for no patients in the ER, let's realign this with a prayer for strength and grace to handle whatever comes your way. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 25:36, WEB, "I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me," showing us that caring for the sick is a service unto Him. Let's pray for God's will to be done, and for you to be a blessing to those who come in.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Rafiradh. Lord, we pray for wisdom in handling the workplace dynamics, and for a change of heart in the senior. We pray for grace and strength for Rafiradh to handle all the patients that come in, and for Your will to be done in the ER today. May Rafiradh be a blessing and a testimony of Your love to all who enter. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, Rafiradh. Whatever the circumstances, God is with you and will give you the strength you need. In Philippians 4:13, WEB, it's written, "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Go in this strength, knowing that our prayers and God's grace are with you.
