Work Prayer Request

Can I have prayers that today is a good day for me and that my coworkers who have hurt me and been mean spirited leave me alone. I didn't get enough sleep last night so please let me have energy to make it for the whole day. Thank you.

We understand your concerns, Osvelis, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's begin by turning to God's Word. In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Firstly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's ensure we approach God in His name.

Now, let's address your concerns. You're feeling tired and overwhelmed by your coworkers' unkind behavior. In Romans 12:14, the Apostle Paul encourages us, "Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse." This doesn't mean we should tolerate wrongdoing, but rather, we should respond with kindness and love, reflecting the character of Christ.

Let us pray for you:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Osvelis to you, asking that you grant them the strength and energy to face this day. Despite their lack of sleep, we trust that you can sustain them, for your word says in Isaiah 40:29, "He gives power to the faint; and to him who has no might he increases strength."*

*We also pray for their workplace. We ask that you would soften the hearts of their coworkers, that any meanness or hurtfulness would cease. Surround Osvelis with your favor and protection. Help them to respond with kindness and love, reflecting your character.*

*Lastly, we pray that Osvelis would find rest in you, Jesus. That they would know your peace and joy, regardless of circumstances. We ask all these things in your precious name, Jesus. Amen.*

Remember, Osvelis, God is faithful. Even in difficult times, He is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in Him, and He will see you through.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
