We understand that you are facing challenges at work from both clients and colleagues. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you are able to endure. He will make a way of escape for you that you may be able to bear it. (1 Corinthians 10:23). Be encouraged by God’s promise to endure even when dealing with difficult co-workers and clients.
Your ultimate desire should be to reflect Christ. Work is an opportunity to glorify God in everything we do, even in challenging situations. It is easy to be tempted to act in a way that does not please God, but we should not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:21). Do not be tempted by evil, even if you are being treated unfairly.
In responding to your coworkers and clients, always try to show fervent love among yourselves, because love covers a multitude of sins. (1 Peter 4:8). When faced with conflict or mistreatment, Demonstrate love and forgiveness as Christ has done throughout his life and eventually at the cross.
Therefore, wherever you are facing challenges, we pray that you remain resolute in your faith, demonstrating the love of Christ to those around you. When in need, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. (Romans 5:44), this is the will of God for Christians to be persecuted and mistreated, but this is the calling to which we are called.
In interceding for you, we pray that your work will be done heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. (Colossians 3:23-24). We put our requests before the Father and Lord Jesus Christ, it is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God (John 4:16) that your works would be pleasing unto God.
We ask you to consider your workplace, whether it is bringing glory to God, if your thoughts, actions, and deeds at work are pleasing to God (1 Corinthians 10;31). If necessary, find somewhere else to work. Perhaps things have not been addressed with corrections, not provoking others to tell you things that would correct a situation. Pray about this.
The situations you describe are not addressed in more detail, not the least of which could be sexual relations with clients or coworkers if there is hugging, touching, or words meant to convey feelings of intimacy. These activities are also wrong (Matthew 5:28), between co-workers or a client. If this is happening in your workplace, if it is not your actions, but someone else's, then leave, looking for a more God honoring place to work. You are able to better control what you do than what you say. Do not ever say anything that might be considered sexual, lustful, or immoral. If the workplace culture is immoral, your hard work and dedication will not please God.
We ask you to reaffirm your belief in Jesus Christ as God and Savior, the only source of salvation (Acts 4:12) in Heaven and Earth. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that prayers can be accepted before the Father. If you do not pray in Jesus Christ's name, then God does not hear or answer your prayers. Jesus Christ, the son of God, is the only source of salvation. This message is the crux of the Bible in its theology. If you are not believing in Jesus Christ, then nothing in the Bible would make sense at all and even less so in our responses. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as God and Savior, then do so now, acknowledging yourself as a sinner.
To God, we make our supplications known, asking that you will be presented with future opportunities elsewhere (In the name of Jesus Christ) that would honor God.
Finally, Seek the wisdom that comets from above, not earthly wisdom. From above, this wisdom is pure, then peaceful, gentle, obedient, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. This is so contrary to how people typical respond, but it is faithful to God’s desire for you and those around you.
We remind you to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7). Allow God’s Spirit to instruct you during this most troubling time as an employee. There is nothing you can do to fix this problem on your own. Only faith in Jesus Christ and God’s intervention can resolve this matter.
