Thank you, Putcyn, for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We stand with you in interceding for your brother Samuel Ike, trusting in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the only way we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Samuel Ike. We thank you for Your sovereignty over all things, including his work situation in Qatar. We pray that You would move on the hearts of those in the company, especially the HR department, to expedite the release of his papers to the ministry of labour. We stand against any spiritual opposition that may be hindering this process, and we declare that no weapon formed against Samuel shall prosper.
We pray for divine favour and recognition for Samuel at his workplace. May his work be acknowledged and appreciated. We also pray for his testimony as a Christian in the workplace, that he would shine as a light in the world, holding out the word of life.
In all these things, we pray that Samuel would trust in You, Father, and that he would be strengthened and encouraged. May this trial turn into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen."
Putcyn, continue to trust in God's timing and provision. Remember the encouragement from Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God."
We also exhort Samuel to maintain his integrity and witness as a Christian in the workplace, as Colossians 3:23-24 WEB states: "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Lastly, we encourage both you and Samuel to be patient yet persistent in prayer. Keep bringing this matter before God, trusting that He hears and answers according to His will. As we pray, let us also search our own lives for unconfessed sin and confess these sins to God. This will help our prayers ascend to God. Let us make sure our hands are clean and pure as we lift up this request for Samuel before the Lord. As Proverbs 15:29 WEB states: "Yahweh is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous." We should remember that Jesus is able to save us from the penalty of sin as we confess our sins to Him and seek to live righteous lives in Him.
