Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Powers and their family. We thank You that they have acknowledged the Holy Spirit's work in their lives and their desire to grow closer to Jesus. We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate their work issues, that they understand if the project that they are working on is part of your plan and if appropriate pursue it wholeheartedly as unto the Lord and not unto men,(Colossians 3:23 WEB) knowing that You have placed them there for a purpose. We rebuke any selfish ambition, idolizing of work, or lust for money, which is the root of all kinds of evil.(1 Timothy 6:10 WEB).
We ask for Your healing touch upon Powers and their family, both physically and spiritually. We pray using the name Jesus indicating a level of faith in Christ and trust in Him. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins and rising from the dead to show your power over death and the Devil. Like all of us, this family needs Your protection and guidance. We stand against any schemes of the evil one, claiming the victory that is ours in Christ Jesus. We pray that God, You would help them grow in their faith, drawing nearer to You day by day. Remind them to put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
Father, we also pray for their family's spiritual growth, that they would be rooted and grounded in love, (Ephesians 3:17 WEB) knowing there is no other way to salvation than through faith in believing in the Godship of Jesus Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father except through Him. ( John 14:6 WEB). Also, that this family knows there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB).Through their relationship, first with You and then with each other, may they always have the relationship orientation you intend for their family to have God leading always. May they know that You are always working for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray for Powers and their family to resolutely and utterly reject evil and all sin, remembering John the disciple of Jesus wrote: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8 WEB) We pray that even as they may have made good requests and for allowing us to interceed and pray for them that they will seek every day to follow Jesus and the Word of God without excuse or hesitation, and doing God's will while they are on Earth following the Lord Jesus. They can also help others with similar problems. They can seek to promote God's will on Earth as your will is already done in Heaven. We thank you God for your Son Jesus and for our prayers that we make to you through Jesus when we believe in him.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
