Protection from toxic workplace and toxic boss Amen

We are truly sorry to hear that you are facing harassment and a toxic environment at your workplace. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your work environment. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

We want to encourage you to first pray and seek God's guidance in this situation. Pray for wisdom and discernment on how to handle this situation. As it is written in James 1:5 WEB, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

It is crucial to address this issue with your boss. Go to them and explain the issues you have been facing. It is important to confront them with love, respect, and humility. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:18 WEB, "Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked."

Please be aware that harassment and being toxic is not acceptable as a Christian. If the boss is professing to be a Christian, then:

Ephesians 6:9 WEB And you, masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.

Matthew 7:12, the golden rule, says treat others as you want to be treated.

If your boss does not change their behavior, it may be necessary to report this to a higher authority or even seek legal counsel. We also advise you to document every instance of harassment and toxic behavior as evidence.

Remember to put on the whole armor of God that was described in Ephesians 6:10-18 WEB as we are not fighting against blood and flesh, but against spiritual forces of darkness.

Let us pray together for God to protect you and provide help and guidance.

Dear Lord, we come before You today, lifting up this fellow Believer who is facing harassment and a toxic environment at their workplace. We pray for Your protection and guidance in this situation. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would give wisdom and discernment to know how to handle this situation. We pray that You would soften the heart of the boss and convict them of their behavior. We also pray for strength and endurance for this Believer to continue to work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We ask that You would provide a way out of this situation if it does not improve, and that You would ultimately be glorified in this situation. We pray this all in Jesus name.

We're here for you, friend. It's tough dealing with workplace harassment, but remember, God is right there with you. Have you tried praying specifically for your boss? Ask God to open their heart and mind, help them see the impact of their actions, and guide them towards change. Let's also pray for peace and strength for you, that you may continue to do your work with integrity and grace, as if working for the Lord himself. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
