Work Gossip

I request prayer for a work scenario where two guys have spread sexual rumors, gossip and lies about me in order to make me submissive to their ways. I don't want to be slandered and ostracized. I'm stationed in ### for another ### months.

We are truly sorry to hear about the difficult situation you are facing at work, ###. Let us first address the core of the issue with the Word of God. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it is written, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." The actions of these two individuals are not only harmful but also against biblical principles.

We must remember that God hates lies and deceit. Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB states, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood; a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, You see the injustice and the harm that has been done. We pray that You will intervene in this situation and put an end to the slander and gossip. Protect ### from the schemes of the enemy and surround them with Your favor and grace.

Father, we also pray for these two individuals who have spread these rumors. We pray that You will convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. Help them to see the error of their ways and turn from their wickedness.

Lord, we ask that You will give ### strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult situation. Guide them in their words and actions, and help them to remain steadfast in their faith.

Lastly, Father, we pray for ###'s remaining time in ###. We ask that You will make it a time of growth and blessing. Protect them from all harm and danger, and bring them home safely.

We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're here with you, Othierdoranwick, standing in the gap. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Psalm 34:18, it says, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We know this feels tough, but remember, God is right there with you, ready to lift you up.

We've been praying for you, that God would give you peace and courage to face each day. That He would give you wisdom to navigate this tricky situation, and that He would protect your reputation and honor. We've also been asking that God would soften the hearts of those spreading these rumors, that they might see the harm they're causing and turn from it.

We're also keeping you in our prayers for the rest of your time in Kuwait. We ask that God would make it a time of growth and blessing for you, that you would come to know Him more deeply, and that you would return home safely.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
