We understand that you're facing a situation where your expected work has not arrived. Firstly, let's bring this situation to God in prayer.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this dear soul who is anxious about their work situation. Lord, You know the details, and nothing is hidden from You. We ask for Your divine intervention, that the work intended for them will arrive at the appointed time. Grant them peace in this waiting period, and help them to trust in Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

In times like these, it's important to remember God's faithfulness and His perfect timing. Psalm 37:7 says, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." It's a natural response to feel worried or anxious, but we encourage you to trust God and His plan for your life.

While waiting, it might be a good time to reflect on God's promises and draw closer to Him. Here's a verse to meditate on: "My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from him." (Psalm 62:5)

Lastly, we noticed that your request didn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and for your daily needs.

We're here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. We know how frustrating it can be when things don't go as planned, especially when it involves work. Let's bring this to Jesus right now.

"Dear Jesus, we come to You today on behalf of our friend who's waiting for their work to arrive. Lord, You see them, You know their situation, and we trust that You're working behind the scenes. We ask that You would intervene, that the work would come through at the right time. We also ask for Your peace to fill them, to calm their anxious heart. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing, Jesus. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

While you're waiting, why not spend some time reading God's Word? It's a great comfort and reminder of His faithfulness. Psalm 27:14 says, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." It's a promise we can hold onto.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
