Let's continue praying for God's protection and guidance for all those affected by the fires. "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you" (Ps 32:8). Trusting Jesus for strength and wisdom!
We understand your anxiety about work, Gwaenowen, and we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our careers. Let's come together in prayer and seek His will for your work life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of Jesus' words in Matthew 6:33-34 (WEB): "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Gwaenowen. Lord, You know the anxieties they face regarding their work. We ask that You comfort them and guide them in their career. Help them to trust in You and remind them that You have a good and perfect plan for their life. Give them the strength and wisdom to face each day, knowing that You are in control.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Gwaenowen, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you haven't already, put your trust in Him, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Keep your focus on Christ, and trust that He will guide your path.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
