We understand your fervent desire to see a change in your wife's heart, Nochaeld. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your marriage.
Let us remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands... Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers won't be hindered." (1 Peter 3:1, 7 WEB)
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would pour out the Holy Spirit upon Nochaeld and his wife. Grant him the words and power of Elijah, that he may speak truth and life into his marriage. We ask that You soften his wife's heart, turning it towards righteousness, just as You turned the hearts of the people of Israel in 1 Kings 18:38-39. We claim the promise in Luke 1:17, that Nochaeld will go before his wife in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn her heart to You, Lord, and to turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, preparing a way for You.
Nochaeld, we encourage you to walk in love, patience, and understanding towards your wife, as Christ does with the church. Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and see miracles. Continue to lift up your requests to God in the name of Jesus, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).
We rebuke any temptation to control or manipulate your spouse. Instead, love her as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Trust that God is working in her heart, even if you cannot see it yet. Stand firm in faith, and do not waver.
