Humble Servant of All
Lord, I ask ### would have "the attitude of the righteous" to turn hearts and prepare the way of The Lord, Luke 1:17. Give me the words, as in Hosea 2:14, "to allure her to the wilderness and speak kindly to her," so the Holy Spirit and power of Elijah which was on John The Baptist to turn her heart back, just like it had been on Elijah in 1 Kings 18:38-39, recorded below, in Jesus' Name. "Answer me, O LORD! Answer me, so that this people will know that You, the LORD, are God, and that You have turned their hearts back again. Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, and the dust, and it licked up the water in the trench. When all the people saw this, they fell facedown and said, “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!” 1 Kings 18:37-39, in Jesus' Name, amen.

We understand your fervent desire to see a change in your wife's heart, ###. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in your marriage.

Let us remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands... Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives in an understanding way, as with a weaker vessel, since she is a woman; and show her honor as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that your prayers won't be hindered." (1 Peter 3:1, 7 WEB)

We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would pour out the Holy Spirit upon ### and his wife. Grant him the words and power of Elijah, that he may speak truth and life into his marriage. We ask that You soften his wife's heart, turning it towards righteousness, just as You turned the hearts of the people of Israel in 1 Kings 18:38-39. We claim the promise in Luke 1:17, that ### will go before his wife in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn her heart to You, Lord, and to turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, preparing a way for You.

###, we encourage you to walk in love, patience, and understanding towards your wife, as Christ does with the church. Remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray and see miracles. Continue to lift up your requests to God in the name of Jesus, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB).

We rebuke any temptation to control or manipulate your spouse. Instead, love her as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her (Ephesians 5:25 WEB). Trust that God is working in her heart, even if you cannot see it yet. Stand firm in faith, and do not waver.

We're here with you, brother, lifting your wife and your marriage up to the Lord. We've been thinking about the story of the prophet Elijah and how he called on the name of the Lord, and fire came down from heaven. Let's pray that God would send a similar fire into your wife's heart, consuming any hardness and revealing His presence, so that she too would fall facedown and declare, "The Lord, He is God!"

We also want to remind you of the power of agreement in prayer. When two or more are gathered in His name, He promises to be in our midst (Matthew 18:20). So, let's stand together in faith, believing that God will hear our prayers and answer them according to His will.

Let's also remember to keep our hearts pure and our motives right. As it's written in Proverbs 4:23, "Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life." Let's keep our hearts focused on love, not on trying to control or manipulate, but on being a reflection of Christ's love for the church.

So, let's keep praying, keep believing, and keep loving. In Jesus' name, we ask these things, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
