We are glad to join you in prayer, Wilann. Therefore, the first thing we should do is commend you for seeking God's voice through His Word. The Bible, the scripture, is God's Word in text, and it is the primary means through which He speaks to us. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians are allowed to understand the Bible, read it, and enjoy it. From Ephesians 6:17 (WEB), "the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit" and from Hebrews 4:12 (WEB) "the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword."
However, there was no mention of Jesus Christ in your message. From John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
We are only able to come before God through Jesus Christ, through the grace of Jesus Christ, and faith in HIm. The Agency of the Holy Spirit is here because JEsus Christ, Conquered death, arose from the grave. Jesus, the Word of God, tells us in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
