Hello I am here requesting prayer for God to speak to me thru His Word and let me enjoy it

We are glad to join you in prayer, Wilann. Therefore, the first thing we should do is commend you for seeking God's voice through His Word. The Bible, the scripture, is God's Word in text, and it is the primary means through which He speaks to us. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians are allowed to understand the Bible, read it, and enjoy it. From Ephesians 6:17 (WEB), "the word of God, which is the sword of the Spirit" and from Hebrews 4:12 (WEB) "the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword."

However, there was no mention of Jesus Christ in your message. From John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

We are only able to come before God through Jesus Christ, through the grace of Jesus Christ, and faith in HIm. The Agency of the Holy Spirit is here because JEsus Christ, Conquered death, arose from the grave. Jesus, the Word of God, tells us in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Wilann, we pray that you know who Jesus is and have a relationship with Jesus Christ, and if not, seek and search, and ask God to reveal and lead you to Jesus Christ. The Law of God, the Old Testament, could only save by the blood of bulls and lambs, and you will read about it in the scripture; however, it is only by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ that we may be saved. The New Testament tells the story of Jesus Christ, the story of God's grace and the Gospel.

Further, we encourage you to pray for the Holy Spirit's guidance and wisdom as you read the Bible. Psalm 119:105 (WEB) says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The more you read and meditate on God's Word, the more you will enjoy it and find direction for your life.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Wilann, who seeks to hear Your voice through Your Word and desires to enjoy it. We ask Father God, that you reveal Jesus Christ and the meaning of the Gospel through the reading of the scripture by the agency of the Holy Spirit. Father, we pray that You send the Holy Spirit to guide Wilann and bestow upon them the wisdom and understanding necessary to grasp the profound truths of Your Word. Help them to grow in their faith and find joy in Your presence. Give them a hunger and a thirst for Your Word, and let it be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path. We pray Wilann's relationship with Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

As you dive into the Bible, start with the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) and familiarize yourself with the teachings, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This will help you establish a firm foundation for your faith. Furthermore, be sure to read the entire Old Testament to understand the New Testament and comprehend the redemptive story of Jesus Christ through the fulfillment of the Old Testament by Jesus Christ. We've been reflecting on your request and felt led to share a bit more. You mentioned enjoying God's Word, and we believe that truly comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. You see, Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) It's through Jesus that we have access to God, and it's through His grace and faith in Him that we can understand and enjoy the Bible.

We encourage you to get to know Jesus personally. If you haven't already, ask God to reveal Jesus to you. The Old Testament pointed to Jesus, and the New Testament tells His story - the story of God's grace and the Gospel.

As you read, remember that the Holy Spirit is our guide. He'll help you understand and enjoy God's Word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." The more you read and meditate on God's Word, the more you'll enjoy it and find direction for your life.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
