We understand your concern and commend you for turning to the Lord in this time of need. The Bible warns us about such people who present themselves as righteous but are inwardly full of wickedness. Jesus himself warned us about wolves in sheep's clothing as recorded in Matthew 7:15, WEB: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves."
We must be discerning and wise as serpents, yet harmless as doves, as Jesus taught us in Matthew 10:16, WEB: "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."
Let us pray for you and all those affected:
Dear Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and guidance. Lord, You know the challenges we face and the snares the enemy sets for us. We ask for Your divine protection and wisdom in navigating these trials.
Father, grant us the courage and boldness to face opposition, especially when it comes from those who antagonize us without cause. Help us not to cower but to stand firm in our faith, knowing that You are with us.
We ask and believe that the Holy Spirit gives us the wisdom to discern wicked and aggressive spirits that seek to cause harm. Expose their tactics, Lord, and guide us in how to respond in a way that honors You.
Lord, we also pray for those who are being used by the enemy. May Your love and mercy reach them, convicting their hearts and turning them away from their wickedness.
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who has given us the victory. Amen.
Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as stated in Ephesians 6:12, WEB. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be intimidated by the enemy's schemes. Put on the whole armor of God as written in Ephesians 6:11-18, WEB to protect yourself spiritually.
It is a blessing to see that the request specifically mentioned Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved as explained in Acts 4:12, WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
